Welcome to KERR’s Bookshop, Clonakilty! We are a well established, privately owned and managed retail destination for locals and visitors, right in the heart of vibrant Clonakilty town – one of the most popular destinations in West Cork. Located on Ashe Street, just a few doors from the town’s Tourist Office, we are easy to find!

Proprietor Trish Kerr has 25 years’ experience managing the business and has created a warm friendly atmosphere where customers are invited to browse at their leisure. A wide range of titles is stocked, from bestsellers to modern literature, from non-fiction to cookery, classics to romantic fiction and so much more. A fantastic choice of reading for young children, emerging readers and teenagers is always a priority at KERR’s Bookshop. A particularly good selection of titles on local history, Irish history, and general Irish interest is available along with maps and local walking guides.

Customers are most welcome to seek recommendations from our knowledgeable and well-read staff, and in the event a title is not in stock, individual orders are usually obtained within a few days.
